CMT 10-Inch Diamond Saw Blade for Fiber Cement Products

A new saw blade has been designed to reduce material waste and demand on the saw, while delivering reliable, industrial-quality performance cut after cut. This blade features a heavy-duty steel plate (44 Rockwell) for higher resistance during work, along with laser-cut heat expansion slots and sound dampening channels to prevent the tool from warping during rotation and greatly reduce vibrations. The blade teeth are made of Industrial SinterHip High-density carbide, which prevents the tool from any material failure and guarantees a longer cutting life. Additionally, the new Shear Angle Grind on the teeth front face produces smooth cuts, reduces the blade cutting force, and improves the cutting speed, setting a new standard for performance and value. Finally, the blade's Non-Stick Orange Shield Coating keeps it running cool, reduces pitch build-up, and protects against corrosion, making it ideal for all woods, including wet lumber. This outstanding saw blade is delivered in a practical carrying case.

Hardiplank and Hardipanel have become a household name with building contractors. Cutting these materials efficiently while minimizing dust has been a challenge for tooling manufacturers. The CMT blade offers smooth cuts and reduces dust while maintaining a sharp edge. Due to the success of the CMT solution for cutting fiber cement board, quality contractors have been requesting CMT to manufacture 10" and 12" versions of the blade to solve the problem of mitering this material. In response, CMT is happy to introduce 10" and 12" versions of the Hardiplank and Hardipanel blade for use with miter saws.

The CMT saw blade offers very long-lasting cuts, up to 60 times longer than carbide blades, and is designed for portable circular saws and miter saws to cut fiber cement and plasterboard. It features a 0.083 kerf thickness, 0.063 plate thickness, 12° hook angle, and a Trapezoidal Grind. The SinterHip High-density carbide teeth prevent any material failure and ensure longer cutting life. The thin kerf allows for smoother cuts and more cutting speed, setting a new standard for performance and value.
