This router bit may resemble a bull nose bit, but its smaller cutting diameter adjacent to the bearing makes it an ideal choice for milling table legs and other furniture details. With this tool, you can achieve an attractive rounded edge in a single pass or create a full-round corner bead by making two passes. Equipped with a bearing for easy template work, the bit features a super-strength steel body, a Non-Stick Orange Shield Coating, and cutting edges made of SinterHip Hi-Density Industrial Chrome Carbide, ensuring long-lasting performance. According to a test conducted by Wood Magazine, CMT orange bits have been rated the best overall router bits compared to other brands.
The new CMT Corner Beading Bits with bearings allow you to mill beautiful traditional beads and edge beads or transform old beads into new molding. The carbide-tipped cutting edges and the non-stick PTFE Industrial Coating in the trademark orange color provide excellent results when working on corner beads. To form a complete corner bead, you will need to run the bead twice.
